Do I need to modify the hardware?

No hardware modification is required. The custom artwork and fonts are included in the firmware image. TIDRADIO's flashing software is available on its programming software page.

Can I switch palettes in the radio's menu?

No. Classic Green and Pocket are separate firmware files. Choose the one you prefer when flashing.
